Career

Carter Cruise started in adult film in August 2013 after contacting the agency East Coast Talents on her own. A move to Los Angeles and a contract with Spiegler Girls followed in 2014, and then the 2015 award season arrived in full: three XBIZ wins in January, and at the AVN Awards the same month both Best Actress and Best New Starlet. She was the second performer to win those two in one year, and the first since Jenna Jameson in 1996.

The second career, music, overlapped from the start. She was already on a 2015 single as a vocalist when she played her first festival set at SXSW; club and college touring, a debut EP in 2018 and guest mixes followed. Podcasting came in 2023 with 'Ex Virgin' on Dear Media. She has not returned to new adult productions, and the later entries on her credit record are compilations and re-releases.
